Buk turns grandma’s cards, the reunion casserole and the sauce nobody writes down into one cookbook.

Add recipes however you have them — typed, pasted, a link, or a photograph of a handwritten card. Buk reads the handwriting, strips the blog preamble, and keeps the measurements straight. Then it arranges them into a cookbook: cover, contents, chapters, page numbers, the lot.

Buk is software. You work in your browser, nothing ever ships to you, and the finished book is yours as a file. Printing it is up to you — a local shop, or a service like Lulu, who bill you directly.

How it works

  1. 1. Gather what the family has

    Photograph the handwritten cards. Paste the links. Type the one only you remember. It all lands in one library.

  2. 2. Buk sets the pages

    Handwriting read, blog clutter stripped, every recipe typeset in one matching style. You proofread each page against the original.

  3. 3. Then it’s yours to print

    Take the file to a print shop, or upload it to Lulu — they print it and bill you directly. Print one, or one for every household that turns up at Thanksgiving.

What a purchase includes

Buk is software you use in a browser. Nothing ships to you, and there is nothing to install. A purchase unlocks the paid features below on your account — the style voices and translation, photo and handwritten import, every print style, and the watermark-free print-ready export — either for the length of one book project or for as long as a Pro subscription runs.

We hand you the file. Printing and binding are yours to arrange, at a local shop or through a service like Lulu, and we don’t sell anything physical.
